This Hill Top 2,100 sq. ft. duplex with ocean views was built as a home in 1955. The Construction is poured slab and concrete block. The home was purchased by the American Museum of Natural History, and was leased by Lerner Marine. The inside staircase was added to make it a single family residence. The present owner purchased the house in 1975 from the American Museum of Natural History and occupied it as a four bedroom single family vacation home until the early 1980s. The Inside staircase was removed so a downstairs apartment could be created. This unit was leased by Royal Bank of Canada for many years.

A new roof was installed in 2017. The Downstairs unit has been completely refurbished and a new roof was done late last yr (2017), electric wiring and plumbing. Awning type windows were installed upstairs in 1994 and downstairs in 2017. The upstairs deck wasremoved and replaced with poured reinforced concrete in 1996. New aluminium deck rails and stair rail were installed as well. TheACs have been replaced 2017. Wooden planked ceilings downstairs was replaced with dry wall.
